Our Early Education & Preschool program is designed to ignite curiosity and foster learning in young children. Through a blend of structured activities and creative play, we aim to develop crucial cognitive, emotional, and social skills. This program sets the stage for a lifetime of learning, providing a strong foundation for academic and personal success.

We use an interactive, child centered, and developmentally appropriate approach.
Our approach assumes that children learn through active participation and discovery. Our curriculums initiate age-appropriate activities in problem solving, social skills, creativity, individuality, respect for cultural diversity and an overall fostering of independence. At school, each child is respected as an individual with their own unique set of needs. At The Infant Room, children are given maximum support for learning and development.
Our curriculum is designed to nurture the development of The Whole Child, addressing cognitive, intellectual, social, emotional, ethical, and physical needs. The classrooms at The Infant Room are designed so children have a wide variety of age-appropriate activities. Our teachers are active facilitators of children's learning and constantly adjusting the curriculum to meet the needs of each individual child. Teachers act as guides, helping children to make healthy choices, and discuss conflicts with friends, answer and ask questions, and monitor children's progress.
Children will learn basic skills in multiple areas through hands-on real-life experiences, exploration, and discovery. Children will learn numbers and letters, colors, and how the world works. Through exploration, children will enjoy days of fun filled, active, and challenging learning. Each day they experience success and build self-esteem and confidence; in this way they developed a sense of independence, responsibility, and respect for other people. We have an inclusive admission policy and do not discriminate in providing services to children and their families based on race, color, religion, national origin, or any other unlawful discriminations.
Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP)
Simply put, D.A.P. are those practices that consider the unique stage of development, level of understanding, physical ability, and the emotional maturity of each individual child. Our teachers are trained and understand that children generally progress, grow, and develop according to a fairly predictable patterns; and our activities and expectations are guided by that understanding.
We get regular updates throughout the day with their app, and the teachers have worked with us since he was an infant to understand his (ever changing) sleep and feeding schedules so he has the best day possible. They also go out almost every day to the park, playground, and/or library (right next door).
